This year, the event saw Zendaya shining bright in not one, but two breathtaking ensembles. As one of the event’s co-chairs, the Spider-Man: Homecoming actor made sure to turn heads and set fashion trends in her wake. In response, her actor-boyfriend Tom Holland, who skipped fashion’s biggest night, gave the sweetest shoutout on Instagram.
Tom took to Instagram to share Zendaya’s Met Gala looks, captioning them with heart-eye emoticons. Fans quickly responded, calling him “the best boyfriend of the year” and praising the couple’s mutual support.
“You’re the cutest boyfriend!” read a comment while another fan wrote, “You two kill me!! (heart eyes emoticon) you guys are the cutest! Love how you both support each other.” Another user wrote, “Z’s biggest supporter!”
This isn’t the first time Tom Holland has shown his love for Zendaya on social media. He recently shared the poster of her new film, Challengers, expressing his excitement to watch it over the weekend. Starring Zendaya, Mike Faist, and Josh O’Connor, the sports drama is a must-see.

For the Met Gala 2024, Zendaya embraced the Garden of Time theme in true style. Her first look was a mesmerising emerald green and electric blue gown with metallic accents, a hand-painted veil, and a sweeping drape. Her second ensemble was no less impressive, featuring a stunning black tulle bouquet-themed headpiece paired with a design from John Galliano’s 1996 Givenchy haute couture collection. Both looks were brought to life by Zendaya’s long-time collaborator and fashion visionary, Law Roach.
Meanwhile, the couple have reportedly been discussing marriage. According to People Magazine, a source close to the couple revealed, “There has been talk of marriage, and that is a reality.”
