Dutch national coach Ronald Koeman has published the names of his 26-strong squad for the forthcoming Nations League games against Hungary and Germany, and there is no place in the line-up for Memphis Depay.

DePay, who has just moved to Brazil to pick up his career there, was not part of the squad for the first two games against Bosnia Herzegovina and Germany either. Nathan Aké (Manchester City), and Mats Wieffer (Brighton & Hove Albion) are both out through injury.

The Netherlands will meet Hungary on October 11 in Budapest and Germany on October 14. Koeman will publish his definitive line-up on October 4.

Keepers: Bart Verbruggen (Brighton & Hove Albion), Mark Flekken (Brentford) and Nick Olij (Sparta Rotterdam).

Defenders: Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool), Denzel Dumfries (Inter), Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Lutsharel Geertruida (RB Leipzig), Jorrel Hato (Ajax), Jan Paul van Hecke (Brighton & Hove Albion), Matthijs de Ligt (Manchester United), Jurriën Timber (Arsenal), Micky van de Ven (Tottenham Hotspur) and Stefan de Vrij (Inter).

Midfielders: Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool), Teun Koopmeiners (Juventus), Tijjani Reijnders (AC Milan), Jerdy Schouten (PSV), Joey Veerman (PSV), Quinten Timber (Feyenoord) and Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig).

Forwards: Brian Brobbey (Ajax), Cody Gakpo (Liverpool), Joshua Zirkzee (Manchester United), Justin Kluivert (Bournemouth), Donyell Malen (Borussia Dortmund) and Wout Weghorst (Ajax).
