Former Kentucky Wildcats have seen tremendous success in the NBA this season.

Whether it is with Anthony Davis revitalizing the Lakers or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leading one of the rising organizations in Oklahoma City, the Cats in the NBA have been thriving, and there are a few more accolades to mention.

De’Aaron Fox, who was a top-five pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the Western Conference, with Julius Randle, who started his career with the Lakers and is now on the Knicks, being dubbed the top player in the East.

Here’s the NBA release of the honor.

Fox is having a terrific season all around. He is averaging a career-high 30.3 points per game and is shooting 48.6% from the field. Fox is also averaging a career-high 4.7 rebounds per game.

For Randle, he has struggled throughout the season but really has turned it on as of late. He put up 25 points and 20 rebounds on the Charlotte Hornets on November 28, his standout performance from the past week. He managed a double-double in all three games the Knicks played. Randle is averaging 20.4 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.

Tyrese Maxey and Devin Booker are the two names that also both played at Kentucky and have been awarded Player of the Week this year. Fox is the only former Cats player to have been named the best of the conference in multiple weeks this season.
