ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIS) – It was an NFL heartbreak for a former Midlands High School football star and the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Buffalo kicker Tyler Bass missed a 44-yard field goal attempt that would have tied the game with the Kansas City Chiefs with less than two minutes to play.

The Chiefs ended up winning the game 27-24 to advance to the AFC Championship game.

After the game, Bass said he felt terrible and that he has to be better.

Bass is a native of Columbia.

The Dutch Fork High School alumnus was selected by the Bills during the 2020 NFL Draft.
