You are about to be inundated with more viewer choices than ever before when it comes to the NBA All-Star Game Weekend.

Later Tuesday, TNT Sports will announce its NBA All-Star content lineup across TNT, TBS, truTV, Max and Bleacher Report, including an alternate Saturday telecast featuring the TNT Sports analyst debut of Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum and the pairing of Inside The NBA host Charles Barkley and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green watching Sunday’s All-Star Game together.

Among the highlights:

  • Green and Barkley will team up for an NBA All-Star Game ALTCAST on Sunday, which can be viewed on truTV and Max. The telecast will be hosted by Taylor Rooks and also features Jamal Crawford as a roaming reporter from the sidelines. Crawford will facilitate players interacting with Barkley and Green. The main All-Star Game telecast will be simulcast on TNT, TBS & Max; truTV and Max. Tipoff time for the game is 8 p.m. ET.
  • Tatum will be an analyst for the 3-Point Contest that will be held Saturday night (“Access 23 Jordan Brand ALTCAST”) on truTV and Max. That altcast will also feature Vince Carter, Carmelo Anthony and host Adam Lefkoe. Tatum is also expected to be part of the analysis of the Stephen Curry vs. Sabrina Ionescu 3-Point Challenge. The traditional Saturday Night NBA All-Star broadcast will air on TNT, TBS and Max starting at 8 p.m. ET.

“In the past we haven’t had as much flexibility around network real estate, and now with the new company we’ve been given some opportunity to see if we can create some adjacent sports opportunities that create a certain level of engagement and value for fans,” said Craig Barry, TNT Sports executive vice president and chief content officer. “All- Star Weekend is one of our larger tentpoles and we can create an onramp on truTV for original adjacent content and altcast and get creative in that space.”

The pairing of Barkley and Green is a continuation of two opinionated basketball voices creating some viral moments during previous interactions.

“Over the last couple of years when Draymond has come to the studio or with interactions at All-Star Games, it was really evident the chemistry between him and Charles,” Barry said. “There was a lot of dialog and fun and provocative debate. It’s something that we think fans potentially want to see more of so we thought this was an opportunity to sit them down next to each other and essentially watch the game together. We thought what could we put together that would be an interesting conversation —and all things led to Draymond and Charles.”
